I like to exercise between 8-9 in the morning, after coffee but before work.

I try to do it 6 days a week. Sometimes lately, I've been switching out on a day or 2 with 45-60 minutes on the treadmill going uphill part of the time

Default the question poses many challenges for moms!

I like to work out right after I drop my kids off at school, while my youngest naps in the morning. However, with a baby and a freelance design business, sometimes I have to be prepared to adjust on the fly. however, i try very hard to protect and prioritize that time of day for my workout - and it has paid off!

Since I'm not in a position to leave my kids everyday for my workout (unless it is nice outside and I can go for a run) i have set up an area in my basement complete with my pilates mat, a collection of work out videos (that I have collected over time), my cross-trainers, weights, bands and various other tools I've found to be effective for keeping myself in shape. I did not spend a lot of money right at first, I slowly collected my "workout gear" and have found my little home "gym" on a budget to be highly effective!
